Fire Emblem Engage is a tactical role-playing game. Revealed back in September, the game seems to play like other Fire Emblem titles with grid-based strategic battles. However, there’s one key addition to the gameplay mechanics that fans of the Fire Emblem franchise will certainly appreciate. The addition of Emblem Rings allows you to summon characters from previous Fire Emblem games to fight alongside you.
Also coming to the Switch in January are Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden. Originally released on PlayStation Portable, Persona 3 Portable is the critically acclaimed RPG that reinvented the Persona series. It has now been remastered for modern platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, with improved gameplay smoothness, enhanced graphics and quality of life features. Similarly, Persona 4 Golden has also been updated with quality of life features like improved graphics and smoothness, difficulty selection and quick save functionality.
It is a fairly solid month for the Nintendo Switch but 2023 looks even more promising with the upcoming releases of games such as Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe (February 2023), THEATRHYTHM FINAL BAR LINE (February 2023), Octopath Traveler II (February 2023), Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon (March 2023), The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (May 2023), and many more.
